I joined the Midway Mens Club in 2003 because I was the president of the Griggs booster club, and I felt if I was going to come to the club and ask for money I should participate in the club to help make it.
I have been a general member, board at large position, dinner planner at the monthly meetings and vice president so far.

I'm a licensed MN Realtor, specializing in old homes in the St Paul area. MMC donated to my son's high school basketball & baseball teams in 2018. Once I learned how the club raised their funds, I was quick to volunteer for a shift at the fair and had a blast doing it! I'm proud to be a part of such a great organization benefiting our youth.

I am currently a member of the board but have been in the club for 5 years. I decided to join because it looked like a fun group of people to volunteer with. Besides being a member of this club I am an aerospace welder with Raytheon technologies and enjoy doing fireworks as a Minnesota display operator. The fair has always been a big part of my life from my family showing horses there, doing jobs there (building aluminum rails in the grandstand), to typically attending the fair multiple days a year. I have never missed a year since 1967 except for the Covid year.

I joined MMC with my husband Bruce in 2019. We joined after friends asked if we’d like to come work the State Fair. State Fair…we were in! We did not know a thing about the club at that time, but whole heartedly are behind the good work they do.
I’m a retired business owner of Ella Jean Floral a wedding and event florist

I’m a retired business owner of Ella Jean Floral a wedding and event florist. Before that I was a medical business office manager.
I volunteered with my friend Julie to do the scheduling for the shifts at the fair. Quite a challenging job, but I am enjoying getting to know the club members.
We are snowbirds enjoying Florida in the winter.

I believe that our club does a great deal of good for the neighborhood, making it easier for kids to join after-school and summer programs, getting some fresh air and developing valuable skills to help them succeed as they grow.
